Leaving Shanghai

Its good to leave somewhere when you want to see more. Not enough time in Shanghai but a great time, and great to be with friends in a real home so thank you so much Gregg and Kellie for that. Still, we are very excited, not just about Japan, but the boat to Japan. When we eventually find the ferry terminal (converted underground car park behind a building site) it all looks a bit dodgy, but we’re led on to a virtually empty ferry and an empty cabin for us to enjoy the ride. Through the industrial shipbuilding heartland of China and out into the South China Sea.
