Day Five

We wake to clear skies and a view of Ama Dablam, Nupste and Everest. We’re sleeping in tea houses…good food and warm blankets. We watch Yaks tussling with horns, walk round the back of Ama Dablam as 6000+m Taboche and Cholatse loom above us. The landscape is getting almost lunar. Rubble everywhere.

Over a small hill lies Dingboche. Our home for our next acclimatization day.
