Geisha alert

Sarah disappeared at Osaka station - I found her minutes later bothering these women. At last, on our way out of the country, we finally saw two Geisha.

I suppose we should do some kind of summary at this point...

Well, Japan is awsome, cities a bit ugly but unbelievably clean (and yet there are no bins anywhere!), the heated toilets are great, the trains are incredible, the people extremely friendly and helpful.

The clothing is insane, we've been fascinated by the fact that most women are knock kneed, confused by their desire for huge mobiles, dissapointed by the lack of flying robots and quite frankly stunned by the number of gadgets they have for dealing with their umbrellas.


The temples of Kyoto and the freshness of the Alps were definitely highlights. Some of the food definitely the low point of our stay. And of course we had Mrs Perry along for the ride which was great...

And now for an unexpected trip to Korea. No guidebook, no plan.
