Fish and Fuji

Back in Tokyo we got up at 4am to see some fish being sold. Not really a classic reason to get up, but the tuna at Tuskiji fish market are the biggest and best in the world...the size of cows they were.

And so as we were up,, and the day was sunny, we headed off to see Fuji. We'd glimpsed it from the train before but wanted to see the real wonder.

We saw clouds, and mist, and for about 20 brief seconds, the snow covered summit. But it gave us a chance for one last 'Tomi' ice cream sat in the mountains of Japan.
