Vientiane is a bit of a nothing capital...very sleepy. Though that could be set for anywhere in Laos I guess...Still the bakeries are amazing (especially sticky fingers.mmmm), the buddah parrk was strange and interesting and the National Museum was great if you like poorly displayed propaganda.

Plus, Sarah very much enjoyed her various pints of Magners at the 'Hare and Hound'. Run by a Freddy Mercury lookalike. First cider in 6 months!!
