After (our first ever) overnight bus to Pakse, we took a local bus up to the Bolevan Plateau in south Laos which did the whole journey in 1st gear while we sat on bags of concrete...

Tat Fan was a beautiful spot to spend an evening, cooler climate, surrounded by jungle. This was the view from our 'resort'. In Laos a 'resort' is just a load of overpriced bungalows.
