One day while sat in the river, we watched a boat sail past. Attached by their noses were 6 cows, each floating sideways and frantically paddling to keep alive.
These two kids caught massive wasps with glue on their sticks, then skewered them onto a stake.
Squeeling pigs being tied up in boats to be taken to market. But the biggest memory of Muang Ngoi will be the kids splashing and diving in the river, everyone bathing at dusk and a very chilled out life.
But all good things come to an end, so we headed to Luang Prabang...to recharge the batteries. Literally. We had had no electricity for 3 days.
