Some things seen on the way to the wall:

• Multi million pound new bridges and motorways used by nothing but the occasional man on a bicycle.
• Lush grass verges of said roads being used by sheep herders
• Demolition of a bridge that was no more than 20 years old to make way for a newer, bigger bridge
• Mile after mile of corn laid out by the side of the road
• An actual size Arc de Triomphe on a hillside surrounded by castles and executive housing.
• Appalling smog that reduced visibility to 100m everywhere

Progress whether it's needed or not...oh and 100's of tracksuited school children marching round the playground.
