One thing we have had time for is reflection. The end of a decade, Tom turning 31. And just the magnitude of where we’ve been and what we’ve done is beginning to sink in. I think it will take many years to come to terms with all we’ve learnt, To understand how this trip has changed us.
We have a date to fly home, a date for Tom’s first day of work, soon we may have a date for a wedding. It was an incredible year 2009 for us. A hell of a lot better than 2008. Met some wonderful people, fulfilled god knows how many life long ambitions, put a sizeable dent in our bank balance, but it all came up trumps. Hope anyone reading this had just as good a year as us, and all the best for 2010.
