Lake Bunyonyi

After the exhiliration of gorillas, we head for Lake Bunyonyi. A place recommended way back in India. It turns out to be one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed in the world. Green terraced hillsiades slide into the tranquil lake. From our open Geodome (like a big bamboo tent), we watch the rain come and go. You can hear the women singing to themselves as they paddle over the lake in dugout canoes (which refuse to go in the direction you wish we discovered in a fruitless 2 hrs on the lake).
