What you don't hear so much about Agra, is the wonder of the red sandstone Fort - a Persian masterpiece of beautifully proportioned courtyards and grand marble palaces. And also the baby Taj (above) - a miniature but exquisitely detailed version of the Taj Mahal.

The light here both at dawn and sunset is fantasic and these places look even better when the smog/ dust clears away and you get that unique Indian light hitting the facades.

Some of the most beautiful buildings we've seen on our travels without a doubt.
