Continuing our wknd of fun, we headed out to the desert today in Bruce's Big Yellow Jeep for a bit of dune bouncing. This is what the Emirates seem to live for. Burning oil for fun. And it is great fun, sliding up and down the dunes...until Sarah got us bogged. This would have been fine if our companion hadn't disappeared into a bush at the same time. Queue an interesting hour as the sun went down, digging frantically to get both cars out.

Still, with the help of two further cars, we got out in the end, wound our way back in the dark (pretty hairy because you can't see anything, and you can't really stop incase you sink in again), and got home to a well deserved beer. Great fun, and some of the most beautiful desert in the world.....especially with 200 4x4's flying up and down the dunes.
