But we came here really to sleep in the Desert, under the stars. A bit random, but after a few hours on a camel and a beer or two as the sun went down. You just lie back and watch the show.
Which was helped by a German guy who was there for an hour or two. An amateur astrologer, he pointed out first Jupiter, then a satellite and the galaxy of Andromeda.
Then he shouted and pointed at something moving west to east across the sky slowly...the International Space Station buzzed past overhead. Very surreal.
If you're wondering why we didn't just sleep on the floor. There are 1000's of dung beetles marching underneath us. And probably a scorpion or two but best not to think about that.
