We visited many graves in Tana Toraja as well. Holes chiselled out in the rock or in living trees for dead babies...

And all around them, Pau Pau. Not very lifelike effigys of the dead standing in neat rows in the cliff face. Each village has their own grave site, with the poorer inhabitants just left on ledges for centuries.
