It's a year since we set out from the misty Trent valley on a cold Autumnal morning. It's been one hell of a journey. We still haven't perfected the art of our jumping photos though as seen above on Kelimutu in Flores.
The relief and excitement of sorting everything out in the UK (thanks especcially to the Wheatleys!) is strange. We feel like this is the end of one trip. So now for the next - Nepal, India and then try to get home without flying, up through Africa.
We've been incredibly lucky, we've met some wonderful people, both natives and travellers. We've met some right idiots too!! We've been lucky to have visitis from friends and family. We've seen the things we both always dreamed of. Bloody lucky people is all we can say.
