Of course, if you go with a guide who behaves well, you run the risk of not seeing anything. They are wild animals after all. So we spend 6 or 7 hrs trekking through the toughest jungle with the highlight being a tortoise feeding on the leftovers of another guides lunch. Really, how hard is it to take your litter with you?

We saw 100’s of Orangutan nests though so we know they’re out there somewhere.

Still, plenty of Thomas Leaf Monkeys around...like this one we stumbled upon in the jungle.
