We've actually been reading some good books as well...'First They Killed My Father' by Loung Ung and 'The Lost Executioner' by Nic Dunlop.
Both gave a harrowing insight into the recent history of Cambodia. The former is a first hand account of attrocities, seen through the eyes of a little girl living under the Khmer Rouge. The latter documents the actions of the soldiers as the author searches for one of the perpetrators of the most infamous war crimes (not to mention the role of the Yanks in all of this!).
Light bed time reading for all but well worth it. They even drove Sarah into read 'The Hobbit'.
