Well we bring new meaning to 'flashpacker'...After weeks of stressing about how to get to Cambodia, we made a '12th hour' (Sarah's one and only contribution to this blog!) decision to fly. Everything we heard about Bangkok to Siem Reap just sounded rubbish so airport lounge and 40 minute flight sounded worth the cost.
And then we landed and were whisked by a surprisingly luxurious tuk tuk to our 2 storey palace including outdoor bath and shower, 100 tv channels, incredible food, pool, fridge and ice buckets, oh and a large roof terrace.
I think the grins have returned. Life does apparently get better than stroking tigers. If only the laptop hadn't imploded en route so that there is now half the screen missing. Do not buy Eeee PC...although Sarah thinks it is a "leaf motif" on the screen!
Maybe after all the rubbish I'm saying about Sarah she will actually write the occasional blog now? Unlikely she says while sipping wine next to me on the veranda
