Cambodia was one of our favourite countries so far. Unbelievably friendly people, incredible food (especcially the fish amok!), quiet beaches, beautiful countryside and the chance to feel good about yourself by helping out the local people.
There's the poverty and of course the terrible history but that just adds to the interest. Its a chilled, easy holiday with an interesting culture and past.
And of course if you see one wat in your life, make it Angkor! But we're wat'ted out for now. Seriously had enough of religious monuments for one lifetime.
