Back on the Mekong

Pnomh Penh is a chilled city with a grim past...represented by the endless beggars with missing limbs. We have been trying to come up with some sort of ethical giving policy: No money to children, $0.05 for one missing limb, $0.25 for no limbs etc. but in the end this country has too many needy people.

It's pretty depressing when the people are so friendly, the atmosphere so good in this city. We've both been a bit shocked by it and you just can't give to everyone so we'll try and find some different ways of helping out whilst we're here.

But for now we're off to see the Southern jungle and some hopefully deserted islands.
