After 4 days sat by the pool in Chiang Mai and refusing to go into town because of all the chavs, bikers and sex tourists we were beginning to miss the chaos and difficulties of China. Thailand seemed a bit too easy and we didn't like it one bit...

So the only answer was to get on a bus and head to the countryside...fewer westerners, stranger sights and we're beginning to like the place now. Sukothai is a world heritage site but relatively quiet...just us and our chicken chasers pootling round the countryside and the endless Wats.
