We woke up to monkeys this morning in the jungle...no elephants at the 'wild elephant park' but a couple of good signs which brings us to OUR TOP 5 CHINESE SIGNS:

1. No bowel motions or urinary - Above bin in Kunming bus station
2. Do not lie down - Chengdu train station
3. Slip carefully - Leshan
4. Danger! No Striding - Chengdu train station
5. Everyone is the image of the tourism and the window of displaying civilisation - Lijiang

hopefully we can add to the flickr account throughout SE Asia but I think maybe China is in a league of its own. We were told that none of these are poor translations but that the Chinese is just gibberish.
