Day three in Tibet - we climbed over 5100m to the holiest Lake in Tibet, and the 'world's highest salt lake' - Nam Tso. It was freezing, but stunning. The lake is surrounded by Himalayan peaks of up to 7000m (and the odd Yak head). Tibetans walk around the lake on pilgrimage, but if they can't manage this, then they circle 2 rocks adorned with prayer flags. The ten hour round trip in a van with zero suspension was well worth it - again see flickr for more piccies.

here we go again. Third try to leave a comment. Sarah seems to do her exercises in a lot of your photos! That's the shortened version of the first time I tried to comment!
