So - where were we? Yesterday went for great Russian food at a canteen in the evening (accompanied by a kitten to really make my day). Wandered round beautiful city - check out Flickr to see more piccies - over to St Peter and Paul's fort, and up St Isaac's cathedral.
Today walked for miles again (feet zinging) to Smolny Cathedral, and then got a bus back with a hilarious Russian trying constantly to engage Japanese girls in conversation.
Have shopped for the ubiquitous Russian dolls, and spent approximately 4 hours trying to sort out bank accounts - thank you mum!
Both been eaten by mozzies :-(
Off to Moscow tomorrow on the overnight train (eeekski).

will you please stop having a good time? you're meant to be having 'travelling experiences/ a bad time' and all the pictures show you looking relaxed and happy. Stop it.
